About this file

This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (DD Form 1423-1) specifying data delivery requirements for a round metal bar procurement.

The contract requires submission of a Certification Data Report documenting chemical and mechanical (physical) properties for nickel-copper-aluminum alloy (UNS N05500) material per specification QQ-N-286G dated December 7, 2000. The material is a 6-inch diameter round metal bar in annealed and age-hardened condition with hot-finished surface, delivered as one 10-foot length. The contractor must provide actual values for chemical composition, ensure certifications are traceable to material via unique markings, and perform product check analysis. Required testing includes ultrasonic inspection, slow strain rate tensile testing (to be performed by laboratories listed in the solicitation), and mechanical testing per Section 4.3.2. The final heat treatment procedure must comply with Section 4.3.6, and packaging, packing, and marking requirements must follow MIL-STD-129 with reference to DLA Procurement Note C20. Certification documentation shall be submitted via the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) e-Business Suite with one copy in final form. Acceptance or rejection of the certification documentation will occur concurrently with material acceptance and not prior to shipment. The distribution statement limits distribution to DoD and DoD contractors only for administration and operations, effective July 15, 2026, with other U.S. requests referred to COMNAVSEASYSCOM. The document was prepared by Brian Parker and approved by Willie Leach on July 15, 2026 (Document No. 6195-7915, IDN N4523A).
