About this file
This document is an amendment to a technical specification for a federal contract solicitation. The solicitation is for the supply of GSU transformers for the Old Hickory Power Plant. The amendment revises the specification to change references to "maximum ONAN" losses to "base ONAN" losses. It also updates a proposal content section and a FAR clause to reflect this change. The transformers required have ratings of 161x69 kV and 13.2 kV, with Wye and Delta winding configurations. Additional details such as impedance, BIL levels, taps, losses, sound levels, and weight are provided. Structural design criteria and seismic calculations must also be submitted for the transformers and associated components. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District.
