About this file

This Scope of Work is for Work Uniforms for the Department of Public Works (DPW) for the City of Atlanta, which seeks to procure uniforms through two purchasing categories: outright purchase and uniform rental. The contract will provide comprehensive uniform services for multiple departments, including supply, purchase/rental, delivery, fitting, customization, laundering, and maintenance for field and maintenance personnel. The uniforms must be durable, weather-appropriate, high-visibility, and comply with OSHA and ANSI safety standards, available in men's and women's sizes. Required items include various shirt types, pants, cargo trousers, jackets, work coats, reflective gear, coveralls, and supervisor accessories.

The vendor must provide a web-based ordering and inventory management system within 60-90 days of contract award, maintain a principal place of business in Georgia, and meet minimum service-level standards of 95% on-time delivery and fulfillment accuracy. The contract includes detailed service level agreements with specific penalties for late deliveries, incomplete orders, and missed maintenance cycles. Invoicing requirements mandate detailed, itemized data with individual line items, quantities, unit pricing, and compatible reporting formats. The City reserves the right to assess liquidated damages for non-compliance, with potential contract termination for repeated violations. Vendors proposing alternate brands must be prepared to provide sample uniforms, and the City maintains the option to purchase remaining rental inventory at fair market value.
