About this file

This Scope of Work details an emergency vehicle upfit project for the Sandy Springs Fire Department involving the professional customization of three Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles with specialized emergency equipment. The project encompasses comprehensive vehicle modifications including professional-grade emergency lighting systems (front, rear, and side), control systems, synchronization modules, mounting hardware, safety equipment, installation labor, and window tinting. The scope covers specific equipment specifications such as DUO Linear ION lights, VXE Warning Lights, WeCanX control systems, and a glass-mount communications antenna, with a total of 54 labor hours allocated for full electrical integration, mounting, testing, and quality assurance.

The document allows for vendor flexibility in proposing alternative products, provided they meet or exceed the minimum quality, performance, durability, compatibility, and warranty standards outlined in the specification. All proposed substitutions are subject to approval by the Sandy Springs Fire Department prior to award or installation. The project aims to deliver three fully upfitted and operational fire department Tahoes with a turnkey handoff, including installed, tested, and operational systems, with warranty and documentation following Monster Customs' standard deliverables. The vehicles will be outfitted with specific tinting (50% on rear windows, 20% on front windows, and a 5% visor strip) and are designed to be compatible with 2021+ Chevrolet Tahoe models, utilizing WeCanX control architecture compliant with modern emergency vehicle standards.
