About this file

This Scope of Work document details a soffit replacement project for Bridgewater State University's Adrian Tinsley Center located at 325 Plymouth Street in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 620 linear feet of damaged vertical sheetrock soffit positioned on an upper suspended track above the courts at a working height of approximately 12 feet. The soffit measures 18 inches wide and runs in an oval configuration. The contractor must furnish and install a new soffit system using durable solid composite material such as Azek, Koma, Veranda, or an approved equivalent, fabricated to match existing dimensions and layout. All work must include demolition with proper surface protection, debris removal and disposal, finishing with caulking, joint sealing, surface preparation, priming, and painting to achieve a uniform appearance per Bridgewater State University standards. The project start and end dates are to be determined. Interested parties should contact Project Manager Jerry Santos at G2santos@bridgew.edu or 508-531-2749 to schedule a walkthrough.

The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, lift equipment suitable for the suspended track area, floor protection throughout the project duration, and site cleanup upon completion. Prevailing Wage rates apply to this project. Work scheduling must be coordinated with Bridgewater State University to minimize disruptions to ongoing programs, and a detailed work schedule must be submitted and approved prior to mobilization. All work must comply with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes. A 50% Payment Bond is required upon award if the total project value exceeds $25,000. Additional questions should be directed to procurementservices@bridgew.edu.
