Fort Drum Range 48 Off Grid System Improvements
SCOPE OF WORK
OFF GRID SOLAR PHOTO VOLTAIC SYSTEMS
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01 SECTION INCLUDES
A. This specification is Equipment only specification for the main components for (4) off grid photovoltaic systems as detailed below. Each system shall consist of PV Panels (Modules) that collect solar radiation, DC to AC Power Inverter to Convert DC solar electricity to AC Power, a battery bank for storage of energy, and connections to existing generators for auto-generator start when the battery bank reaches a set voltage. The total quantities of these items are described in Part 2.
Base Bid - Provide the following materials necessary to install (4) completely functional off grid photovoltaic systems at the Fort Drum Range 48.
Base Bid will include:
1. (4) Battery banks to provide 1600Ah at 24VDC each
2. (4) Inverter/Charger units, 3500W 120VAC output, to connect to the existing 120V, Single Phase Equipment at the site.
3. (4) 60A Charge Controllers.
4. (4) Photovoltaic arrays, sized to adequately charge the system battery bank
5. (4) System Controllers with Auto-Generator Start. Settings to be agreed upon with the Owner.
6. Appropriate electrical equipment, wiring, conduit, and connections to make the system fully functional.
