About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines specifications for the construction of a pole barn measuring 40' wide by 84' long by 13'6" high, comprising six stalls. The structure requires specific materials including 6X6 pressure-treated posts rated for 50 years, 40' steel trusses in heavy gauge, 2X6 yellow pine purlins (#1 grade), and 29 gauge galvalume metal roofing. The first stall includes a 14' X 40' X 6" concrete wash pad constructed with 4000psi concrete paving with fiber and #4 rebar, connected to a septic system. The remaining five stalls require 6" of 57 stone ground padding.
The total barn size is 3,360 square feet, with no sides or electrical components included in the scope. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. The structure is designed as an open-air facility, focusing on basic structural elements without additional amenities or enclosed spaces.
