About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for Pouch and Courier Services required by the U.S. Consulate General in Hermosillo, Mexico. The SOW outlines the requirements for a one-year period of performance from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025, with an estimated 13,000 kilos of courier service during this time.
The key requirements include next working day and two-to-three day delivery service between Hermosillo and Matamoros, a reliable web-based tracking system, monthly billing, electronic payment options, and technical/operational support. The Consulate is also requiring the contractor to provide regular shipping supplies as needed. The SOW includes details on the two valid addresses for service during and after the Consulate's relocation in September 2024. This SOW is related to a sole-source justification for a one-month contract award to Estafeta Mexicana valued at an unknown amount for 1,000 kilos of unclassified pouch mail courier service on the same route.
