Summary of Schedule B - Vendor Price Quote

This is a vendor price quote form issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for haul out, inspection, repair, and maintenance services on a 65-foot fisheries survey vessel named Steelhead, located at the Charlevoix Fisheries Research Station in Charlevoix, Michigan. The Request for Proposal (RFP No. 210000001290) requires contractors to submit comprehensive pricing for multiple vessel maintenance and repair activities, including hauling out the vessel, pressure washing, ultrasound hull inspection, shaft and rudder removal and reinstallation, hull and deck sandblasting and painting, engine room cleaning and painting, structural welding and repairs, bilge pump replacement, transducer well fabrication and installation, air conditioning unit replacement with a mini-split heat pump system, skeg oil replacement, and vinyl lettering application. The pricing schedule requires itemized costs for 25 distinct work categories, with certain items designated as contingent upon inspection results. Contractors must complete and submit the Schedule B form in a modifiable format along with their complete proposal in the SIGMA VSS system, with failure to do so resulting in potential proposal disqualification.

Contractors must provide all-inclusive pricing covering labor, equipment rentals, materials, shipping, and any associated dry dock charges without exception. The form permits contractors to propose quick payment discount terms by specifying a percentage discount off the invoice if paid within a specified number of days following invoice receipt. The State reserves the right to use the lower price quoted if discrepancies exist between the Schedule B pricing and pricing entered in SIGMA VSS. Contractors must certify that all proposed prices were developed independently without consultation or agreement with other contractors. Specific product selections are required for certain work items, including primer preferences for deck and forepeak repainting, A/C brand and model specifications for the mini-split heat pump system, and antifreeze brand selection for skeg oil replacement. One line item (Section Q regarding the single-to-dual transducer well replacement) has been deleted as work is not required.
