PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
SCBA Air Cylinder Re-Servicing Cart
The Government shall be responsible for ensuring all new prompt acquisition of vital SCBA Air Cylinder Re-servicing Cart.
The Customer shall be responsible to have shore power at the ready for new SCBA Air Cylinder Re-servicing Cart.
The Customer shall provide contractor with proper space and power for new SCBA Air Cylinder Re-servicing Cart installation and training.
The purpose of this contract is to acquire a new SCBA Air Cylinder Re-servicing Cart.
The project timeline for this requirement will be established as period of performance in the resulting contract award.
SCOPE OF WORK
This requirement shall include the installation of the following within the following Fire Station at a minimum:
Fire Station 1
TRAILER MOUNTED BREATHING AIR COMPRESSOR. 15HP, 20.7CFM, 6000PSI, 2 BOTTLE
FILL STATION, 25 KW GENERATOR, CO/MOISTURE MONITOR SYSTEM, ELECTRIC BRAKES,
20 GALLON FUEL TANK WITH GAUGE, 4 STABILIZERS
HIGH PRESSURE BREATHING AIR STORAGE SYSTEM, 6000psi WITH 4ea. UN/ISO
CYLINDERS.
FOUR-BANK CASCADE CONTROL.
100’ SPRING REWIND HOSE REEL W/ HOSE AND CONNECTION
COMMAND LIGHT TOWER
EnerGen PACKAGE, INCLUDES AUXILLARY ELECTRIC OUTLET PACKAGE.
COLD WEATHER PACKAGE.
SCBA SPACER KIT.
START-UP AND FIRE PERSONNEL TRAINING
Work shall be done during normal business hours, except for maintenance windows that will be jointly negotiated between contractor and Eielson AFB Fire Emergency Services.
The Contractor shall provide project management, inventory and staging of the materials prior to delivery on site for installation if necessary.
The Contractor shall be able to respond to any warranty issues within 24 hours, upon notification by the customer.
The Contractors shall validate the system performance after installation.
Instructions to Contractor:
The Contractor shall provide and maintain all personnel with safety equipment, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary for installation and technical support for the SCBA Air Cylinder Re-servicing Cart.
The Contractor is responsible for the administrative costs, labor, materials, supplies, and services required to perform all of the requirements of the contract.
The Customer assumes no responsibility for costs incurred by the contractor to perform the contract requirements that were not included in the contract price based on a written quote included in the contract award. This contract does not create an employer-employee relationship between the customer and any corporation, partnership, business association, or other party or legal entity with which the contractor may be associated.
The Customer shall provide necessary utilities. Contractor shall use the utilities in a responsible manner. Contractor shall notify customer of the failure of any utilities or the need for maintenance. Contractor shall use the utilities only for the performance of this contract.
The Contractor shall have the necessary staff with required skills, knowledge, and training to satisfactorily perform the services required by this contract. Contractor personnel working under this contract shall practice high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, neat appearance while on duty.
The Contractor shall not sell any commodity or service to any individual on EAFB or associated with this contract.
The Contractor shall work in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and local laws and installation regulations and policies. If the contractor fails or refuses to promptly comply with safety requirement the Contracting Officer may issue an order stopping all or part of the work until satisfactory corrective actions have been taken.
