Amendment 002 – Government Response to Technical Questions Scientist/Engineering Support for Measurement Science for Additive Manufacturing Program
SB1341-16-RQ-0277
Q1: Does NIST have an idea of the approximate amount of man hours that will be required to complete the base year work? For example, is NIST expecting one individual full time for the full year that we can use as a benchmark for submitting the proposal?
A1: The vendor should propose the number of hours they believe is appropriate to meet the required deliverables.
Q2: The minimum requirements state “The contractor shall have at least a Ph.D. degree or higher in the technical sciences.” Is there any flexibility in this requirement?
Q2: No, please quote in accordance with all of the terms outlined in the Request for Quotation document and Statement of Work.
Q3: Are there any teaming opportunities under this solicitation?
Q3: Yes, please submit a teaming agreement with your proposal if teaming with another company.
Note: The submission deadline remains unchanged as a result of this amendment.
