About this file

This is a Statement of Work for NASA Ames Research Center procuring a Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) camera system. NASA requires one Lytid SIRIS Deep Cooled Scientific SWIR Camera or equivalent, with delivery and performance at NASA Ames Research Center, MS 230-2, Moffett Field, California 94035. The period of performance is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO).

The camera must meet specific technical specifications including a minimum 640 x 512 pixel array with a minimum image area of 6 x 6 mm and sensitivity range of 900-1650 nanometers. Required performance parameters include quantum efficiency greater than 70% at 900 nm when operated at 77K, programmable integration time with minimum gate time of 1.0 microsecond or less, rise time less than 0.1 microsecond, single shot externally triggered acquisition capability, and minimum 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion. The detector must operate at a minimum temperature of 77K using liquid nitrogen or a cryocooler, maintain a working distance of less than 1.0 inch, achieve a minimum 44 dB dynamic range, support full well capacity greater than 17,000 electrons, maintain sensor noise below 350 electrons, include multiple gain settings and a software development kit, and feature a 100% fill factor with no built-in cold filter.
