About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for customized, on-site DEWESoft training services at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC). NASA requires instructor-led training on the DEWE-43A 8-channel USB Data Acquisition System and DewesoftX software to address variability in user proficiency, workforce turnover, and expanded system usage across the Center's technical test engineering organization.

The vendor shall deliver a three-day technical seminar onsite at NASA GRC (21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135) with curriculum customization, printed training materials, 10 training kits, hands-on exercises using real GRC data and systems, and up to two instructors. Training must accommodate a maximum of 30 attendees (engineers and technicians) and cover sensors, signal conditioning, and validation topics. Deliverables include the customized curriculum, printed materials, and any applicable digital training guides (PDF format). The performance period spans 2–4 weeks, encompassing curriculum customization, the three-day onsite training, and post-training deliverables within one week of completion. NASA GRC will provide training facilities, audiovisual support, participant accounts, and process notes for curriculum customization. The training objectives focus on improving DEWESoft proficiency across core workflows, strengthening user understanding of sensors and signal validation, and supporting workforce readiness in operations and mission support directorates.

Statement of Work for DEWESoft training

Background

NASA Glenn Research Center utilized and operates DEWE-43A 8-channel USB Data Acquisition Systems (DAW) as a high-speed data system in various test cell and laboratory settings to augment primary DAQs.

Variability in user proficiency, turnover across technical test engineering organization, and expanded use of the systems have created a need for a targeted training class on the full scope of the tool’s capabilities, how to implement them, and get the most out of the system.

To address these challenges, NASA requires customized, on-site, instructor-led training aligned with the Center's needs for high-speed data acquisition.

Scope of Work

The vendor shall provide all labor, facilitation, curriculum customization, training materials, and logistical coordination necessary to deliver the NASA DEWE-43A & DewesoftX Training covering topics of sensors, signal condition, & validation as well as DewesoftX. Approval of course curriculum prior to training is required. The training engagement includes:

• DEWESoft 3 Day Technical Seminar onsite at the NASA Glenn Research Center.

• Printed training materials

• 10 training kits for use during training

• maximum of 30 attendees

• Hands-on exercises within GRC’s operational environment

• Up to 2 instructors

Training will be designed for the following roles:

• Engineers

• Technicians
