About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for OEM maintenance and training services on a 1293B Dry Air Bleed system at NASA Langley Research Center, dated 30 July 2026. The effort aims to return the dry air bleed system to baseline maintenance specifications through contracted services with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), anticipated to occur between August 1 and October 30, 2026.

The scope requires OEM technicians to travel to LaRC and perform 22 hours of baseline maintenance on three compressors and three desiccant dry air filters, including replacement of all disposable filters, oil, mufflers, O-rings, and cartridges. The contractor must evaluate and replace auxiliary valves and shuttle valves as necessary, and perform an operational check upon completion. Deliverables include specific replacement parts identified by part number and EMR code (CSD100, CSD75, KCF400, KLS485.2, KLS1875, KPF485.2, KOX485.2, and KVF485.2 components). The government will furnish the Dry Air Bleed system originally purchased from Kaeser Compressors, Inc., access to Langley Research Center, and applicable technical manuals. The contractor must provide U.S. citizen technicians and comply with all NASA Langley COVID protocols. Coordination of the contractual work schedule will be performed by division D331.
