About this file
This is a Statement of Work for NASA's purchase of space-grade components for the Aeolus instrument suite, which will investigate Mars atmospheric conditions and seasonal dust and water ice cycles. The objective is to procure EMI filters and DC/DC converters for the Wide Field Context Camera (WFCC) and Surface Radiometric Sensor Package (SuRSeP) Power Boards.
The vendor must deliver four component types with specified quantities and lead times: six SVRCH2812S/H+ DC/DC converters (28V to 12V, 1.5W) with a 12-week lead time; two SVRCH2812S/KL1 DC/DC converters (28V to 12V, 1.5W) with a 3-week lead time; eight SVRMH28F/H+ EMI filters (1.5W) with a 12-week lead time; and eight SVLHF2812S/H+ EMI filters (20W) with a 3-week lead time. All components must be identical in specifications and footprint to previously purchased Flight Instrument Group ETU SuRSeP units and NIRVSS Power Board units. The period of performance spans 3 weeks for stocked parts and 12 weeks for non-stocked parts from the Purchase Request date. Deliverables include stock parts delivery within 3 weeks and non-stock parts delivery within 12 weeks. Components must include documentation of screening level and certificates of conformance to meet acceptance criteria.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Aeolus Surface Radiometric Sensor Package (SuRSeP) and Wide Field Context Camera (WFCC) EMI Filter & DC/DC Converter Purchase
Prime Contract No.
Page 1 of 1 RFP No.
BACKGROUND
NASA is developing the Aeolus instrument suite to investigate the processes driving seasonal cycles of dust and water ice on Mars by systematic observation of its atmosphere from orbit. Within this suite, the Wide Field Context Camera (WFCC) provides aerosol abundance context for the energy balance observations made by the other Aeolus instruments. The Surface Radiometric Sensor Package (SuRSeP) instrument measures surface temperature, total solar reflected and thermal emitted radiance, and total dust and water column densities.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this task is to purchase space-grade EMI filters and DC/DC converters for the WFCC and SuRSeP Power Boards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• EMI filters and DC/DC converters must be of identical specifications and footprint as those purchased for previous Flight Instrument Group ETU SuRSeP units, specifically:
o VPT model SVRCH2812S/H+ or SVRCH2812S/KL1 DC/DC converters o VPT model SVRMH28F/H+ EMI filters
• DC/DC converters must be of identical specifications and footprint as those purchased previously for the NIRVSS Power Board, specifically VPT model SVLHF2812S/H+.
