About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the BREATHE project at NASA Ames Research Center. The contractor shall deliver one portable micro-gas chromatography (µGC) hardware system configured for compound-level identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled breath and other biological samples. The µGC system must include integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, intelligent edge processing capability, and a minimum of 32 GB onboard data storage. The system shall be fully configured, customized, tested, and ready for integration into the BREATHE breath-analysis platform.

The contractor's scope of work includes delivering the µGC hardware, providing comprehensive software support (installation, configuration, licensing, and technical support), performing labor for system preparation and customization, conducting integration and testing activities, and providing commissioning services. The contractor must also furnish travel as necessary to support installation, system integration, testing, training, and technical meetings. The place of performance is NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, and the period of performance is six months from the contract award date. Final deliverables must include a fully operational µGC system ready for integration and final acceptance by the BREATHE team.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

The BREATHE team requires a compact micro-gas chromatography (µGC) system for compound-level identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled breath and other biological samples. The system shall support chromatographic separation of breath-relevant VOCs and integrate with the BREATHE sensing platform. The contractor shall deliver the µGC system fully configured, customized, tested, and ready for integration to meet the technical and scientific requirements of the BREATHE project.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The contractor shall perform the following duties:

• Deliver one portable micro-gas chromatography (µGC) hardware system configured for the BREATHE project.

• Provide µGC hardware with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, intelligent edge processing capability, and a minimum of 32 GB onboard data storage.

• Provide all required software support, including installation, configuration, licensing (if applicable), and technical support necessary for operation of the µGC system.

• Laber required for system preparation, customization, integration, testing, and commissioning.

• Provide travel necessary to support installation, system integration, testing, training, or technical meetings as required by the project.

• Deliver the µGC system fully configured and ready for integration into the BREATHE breath-analysis platform for volatile organic compound (VOC) detection and characterization.

3. Place of Performance

NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA

4. Period of Performance The period of performance shall be six months from the date of contract award. During this period, the contractor shall deliver the µGC hardware, provide software support, perform the required labor, conduct travel as necessary, and complete system integration, testing, and final acceptance.
