About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the acquisition of AxSTREAM Power Tokens, a turbomachinery design and system simulation software suite required by NASA Glenn Research Center to support engineering teams in advanced space power and propulsion applications.
The contractor shall provide a token-based, flexible licensing solution granting full-platform access to software capable of designing and analyzing six machine types: axial pumps, radial pumps, axial turbines, radial turbines, axial compressors, and radial compressors. The software must include machine-type-agnostic solvers for structural/stress analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), blade geometry sectioning, multi-run design-space exploration tools, and rotordynamics and bearings analysis. The contract requires delivery of 158 AxSTREAM Power Tokens for a 2-year duration. Technical support and training requirements include private online onboarding training (recordable for replay), regular software updates, access to tutorials and manuals, self-paced video-based training classes for all authorized users, and 16 hours per year of engineering consulting and project design review support. Deliverables encompass license keys enabling full-platform access, onboarding training with associated learning materials, and ongoing technical support and software updates throughout the license term.

Statement of Work for Turbomachinery Design Suite
Background:
NASA Glenn Research Center requires advanced computational software to support turbomachinery design and system-level simulation for its engineering team. Current and future programs, particularly in advanced space power and propulsion applications, demand scalable, in-house modeling capabilities spanning system-level cycle analysis through detailed turbomachinery design and analysis. To strengthen these capabilities and efficiently allocate resources across multiple projects, this software (AxSTREAM Power Tokens) must be acquired.
Scope of Work:
The contractor shall provide a token-based (flexible, scalable) licensing solution granting full-platform access to a turbomachinery design and system simulation software suite. The suite shall include, at minimum, the following capabilities:
Machine Types Supported (Design & Analysis)
• Axial Pump
• Radial Pump
• Axial Turbine
• Radial Turbine
• Axial Compressor
• Radial Compressor
Machine-Type-Agnostic Solvers
• Structural/stress analysis solver
• Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver
• Blade/geometry sectioning ("slice") solver
• Multi-run and design-space exploration tools (mapping and planning)
• Rotordynamics and bearings analysis
Technical Support & Training
In support of the licenses, the contractor shall provide technical support, including:
• Private onboarding training hosted online (recordable for later replay by NASA Glenn engineers)
• Regular software updates
• Access to tutorials, manuals, self-paced courses, and other learning materials
• Self-paced, video-based training classes included for all authorized users
• 16 hours per year of engineering consulting / project design review (PDR) support
Deliverables
• License key(s) enabling full-platform access to the turbomachinery design and system simulation software per the specifications above
• Onboarding training and access to associated learning materials
• Ongoing technical support and software updates for the duration of the license term
