About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the acquisition of the Agilis NSMS (Non-intrusive Stress Measurement System) Test System for NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The system is an 8-channel laser tip timing measurement device designed to acquire high-speed stress measurements for turbomachinery, specifically for the turbopump used in the InRoDES in-house rotating detonation rocket engine development and test program.
The vendor shall provide Data Acquisition (DAQ) hardware comprising an 8-channel digitizer with wheeled rack, including a StarCase housing, high-speed PCIe-based embedded digitizer, patch panel, BNC-to-SMB cables, front drawer, power strip, and computer mounting brackets. The vendor shall also supply the Agilis Model 8500 Laser/Detector Module enclosure (18.1" width x 20.5" depth x 6.0" height) with 808 nm wavelength, Class 3B semiconductor diode laser, interlock safety feature, water/air cooling capability, Avalanche Photodiode detector, ST connectors, and BNC connector. Additional hardware includes one 8-channel Laser/Detector Module, 100-foot Ethernet cable for laser control, 9-channel harnessed BNC cable bundle (100-foot length), and a 9-channel probe cooling/purge system with 9-port pressure-controlled manifold and eight probe cooling hoses. Nine AMS standard unlensed optical spot probes with 0.065-inch diameter hypo tubes, 36-inch hypo tube length, and 34 feet overall length are required.
The vendor shall provide perpetual, node-locked licenses for vibration data post-processing software (c360 Off Line Software VIBRATION Bundle or equivalent) and live test data acquisition software (c360 Real Time Software TEST Bundle or equivalent). NASA shall provide the workstation computer, specifically an HP Z4 G5 workstation with Xeon 8-core processor, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11 Professional 64-bit operating system, dual LAN RJ-45 ports, Wi-Fi, 512 GB NVME SSD for the operating system, 4 TB NVME SSD for data storage, Microsoft Office, dedicated graphics card, and compatibility with 220V/50 Hz and 120V/60 Hz AC power. The vendor shall provide up to one week of training support and an additional one-week post-consultation fee for data processing training. All deliverables shall be shipped or hand-delivered to Marshall Space Flight Center, Central Receiving, Building 4631, Huntsville, AL 35812. The period of performance is August 2026 through December 2026.
