About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) Study for NASA.
The vendor is required to perform 30 Hot Isostatic Pressing cycles on creep specimen blanks provided by NASA. The vendor must possess all necessary equipment and sensors in-house to conduct detailed reports required for the research study and demonstrate flexibility regarding HIP parameters and scheduling. HIP parameters are constrained to maximum specifications: 2000°C temperature, 200 MPa pressure, and a combined hold and cooling time not exceeding 8 hours total. Argon 4.5 must be used as the pressure medium. The vendor must provide comprehensive documentation to NASA for each HIP cycle performed. All 30 HIP cycles must be completed within 12 weeks following the award of the purchase order.
