About this file
This is a Specification Sheet/Statement of Work for flight instrumentation systems for the GoSWIFT project under the Flight Dynamics and Control (FDC) program at NASA. The effort encompasses three primary objectives: establishing a flight instrumentation system capability for the F15D flight test pod, instrumenting the pod for specific GoSWIFT requirements, and updating the F15D 884 instrumentation system for continued usage up to approximately one decade.
The procurement consists of four equipment stacks plus spares. Stack #1 is a spare and upgrade overhead module stack for the existing Nose Data Acquisition Unit, containing a Miniature Acquisition Stack Overhead Module (MACQ-600-1) and a Miniature PowerPC Overhead Module (MPPC-600-1). Stack #2 is a similar spare and upgrade stack for the existing Ammo Bay Data Acquisition Unit with identical components plus three additional power supply modules (MPSM-2005-2, MPSM-2012-1, MPSM-2015-4). Stack #3 is a new mini-stack with an 8-Channel MIL-STD-1553 Miniature Data Acquisition Unit (MDAU-1553-2) to provide real-time 1553 data for GoSWIFT experiment requirements. Stack #4 is a comprehensive full data acquisition unit stack containing eleven line items including overhead modules, signal conditioning modules, pressure scanners, Ethernet monitors, and power supplies, with a Stack ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) documentation requirement. The Spares section includes five individual data acquisition module spares. All components require NASA Quality Document Q1-A compliance (FAA 8130, manufacturer Certificate of Conformance, or OEM trace) and Q-2 test reports. No alternates are approved. Delivery is required to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Building 4876 Warehouse #6, Lilly Drive, Edwards, California 93524, no later than March 1, 2027. Standard manufacturer's warranty is acceptable, though warranty may be voided upon workmanship inspection. If freight shipment is required, it must be coordinated four business days in advance to facilitate delivery driver entry to Edwards Air Force Base and may require an AFRC visitor request.

SPEC SHEET/ STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements
The effort for the flight instrumentation system is 3-fold for the GoSWIFT project under FDC.
1) Establish a flight instrumentation system capability for the F15D flight test pod.
2) Instrument the Flight test pod for specific GoSWIFT requirements.
3) Update F15D 884 instrumentation system as we see fit for continual usage up to about a decade.
Stack #1: This is a Spare+Upgrade overhead module stack for the existing Nose Data
Acquisition Unit.
Stack #2: This is a Spare+Upgrade overhead module stack for the existing Ammo
Bay Data Acquisition Unit.
Stack #3: This is a new mini-stack specifically chosen to provide real time 1553 data to the GoSWIFT experiment to maintain proper data time correlation.
Stack #4: This is a full data acquisition unit stack chosen to provide all data measurement requirements within the flight test pod as well as cover all GoSWIFT measurement requirements.
Spares: These are individual data acquisition module spares picked to provide immediate spare capabilities for Stack #4.
No alternates approved.
