About this file
This is a Statement of Work for NASA Langley Research Center requesting the purchase of specialized camera equipment for laser-induced fluorescence measurements in the near-infrared spectrum. The primary requirement is one Andor iStar sCMOS Camera (Part # ISTAR-SCMOS-18U-74) with the following specifications: 5-megapixel resolution (2560x2160 pixels), 6.5-micrometer pixel size, global shutter capable of 40 fps at full frame, 2-nanosecond gate width, 1:1 fiber-optic coupled image intensifier with #18mm Gen 3 VIH photocathode, 25.5% peak quantum efficiency, P46 phosphor, 500 kHz photocathode repetition rate, Intelligate integrated delay generator with ultra-low jitter digital output, cooling to 0°C, and USB 3.0 interface.
The contractor must also provide a 12-month extended support package (CAP-12 MTHS) that includes priority helpdesk support, LiveAssist, software updates, and comprehensive parts and labor coverage for all repairs required during the contract period, excluding damage from mishandling or open-fronted camera sensor exposure. The place of performance is NASA-Langley Research Center located at 4 South Marvin Street, Building 1206, Hampton, VA 23681-2199. The period of performance is 18-20 weeks from the contract award date.
