About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) dated 6 May 2026 for the development and delivery of 10,000 psi Dynamic Pressure Sensors with helium bleed and water-cooling capabilities.
The contractor must deliver 40 units of Model 123B23 Rocket motor ICP® pressure sensors (10k psi, 0.5mV/psi, helium bleed, water-cooled with replaceable tubes) and 80 units of brass seals (0.624" OD x 0.553" ID x 0.080" thick). Engineering requirements include helium bleed gas protection with filters, potable water cooling (not requiring pressures above 500 psi), survival of peak pressures to 15,000 psi, operating temperature range of -100°F to 250°F, withstand temperatures exceeding 6,000°F, ceramic-coated erosion-resistant tips, hermetic sealing, electrical ground isolation, low-impedance output (≤100 Ohms), excitation voltage between 12-30 VDC, current draw ≤20 mA, nonlinearity ≤1.0% Full Scale, resolution ≤0.2 psi, rise time ≤20 microseconds, and resonant frequency ≥25 kHz. Line Item 1 must be delivered in batches of ten units with a period of performance not exceeding 20 weeks ARO for the first 10 units and 40 weeks ARO for the remaining 30 units. Line Item 2 may be delivered when ready. All deliverables must ship to Marshall Space Flight Center, Central Receiving Building 4631, Huntsville, AL 35812.
