The contractor is responsible for procuring replacement parts, performing labor, and covering travel costs including per diem and zone charges for a service engineer or technician to work on-site.
The contractor's tasks include evaluating the malfunctioning unit, replacing it with purchased parts, and integrating the repaired components into the laser system. Deliverables consist of the replacement hardware and a performance report documenting the results of the repaired laser system. The government will furnish the Spectra-Physics Solstice Ace laser system, which will be located and connected to electricity at the facility. The SOW contains no applicable background documents, milestones, or government-furnished information beyond the equipment itself.
