About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of a MINILASE MLM30 laser marking system to be delivered to Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The vendor must deliver the complete system within 6 weeks after receipt of order (ARO), with performance concluding upon delivery of materials to MSFC. The place of performance is not applicable to this procurement.

The system must be configured as a Class 1 safe benchtop enclosure with a vertical manual part loading door and anodized aluminum tooling plate. Key technical specifications include a powered focal height adjustment system with dual red aiming beams for easy focus finding, a controllable Z-Axis for marking depth accuracy, and an air-cooled, maintenance-free design. Safety requirements are extensive and include a magnetically latched manual loading door with laser interlock functionality, a clearly visible and accessible emergency stop button, and provisions for testing and verifying automatic safety interlocks that disable the laser when the door opens. The vendor must provide 24/7 access to technical service and support, along with onsite or online start-up training assistance for operators.
