About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) contract for developing a laser beam expander operational at two wavelengths: 1621 nm and 3100 nm. The contractor must provide nine precision optical lenses in three sets of three, with specific material and technical specifications: Lens 1 and 2 are made of Lightpath BD6 chalcogenide glass, while Lens 3 is made of Cleartran Zinc Sulfide. Each lens has detailed requirements including dimensions, surface figure, polish, edge thickness, and surface roughness. The project requires delivery to NASA GSFC, Code 698, Building 33, Room D406 in Greenbelt, Maryland, with a performance period of 16 weeks after receipt of order. The SOW also includes an AI Verbiage section outlining requirements for disclosing AI technology use during contract performance.
