About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines NASA's Office of Chief Engineer (OCE) requirements for migrating Dassault's Teamwork Cloud (TWC) from a 2022x virtual machine instance to a cloud-native 2024x version in NASA's Mission Cloud Platform (MCP). The primary contractor tasks include: 1) finalizing TWC 2024x containerization, 2) migrating NASA users and associated models, 3) implementing security hardening using Zero Trust methodology, 4) creating dashboard monitoring for system health and performance, and 5) providing ongoing server administration and user technical support. The contract period is 12 months from the date of award, with key deliverables including an Operational Readiness Review (ORR) prior to user migration, a post-migration summary report, and monthly sustaining support metrics reporting. The contractor will be responsible for communication with the TWC user community and generating annual reports on system usage, including active users, projects, resources, and mission directorate engagement.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Introduction/Background

The Office of Chief Engineer is preparing for providing the Agency a longer-term enterprise offering of Teamwork Cloud and thus will need to stand up a cloud-native version of Dassault’s Teamwork Cloud (TWC) 2024x and migrate from its virtual machine instance of Teamwork Cloud 2022x. The OCE Cloud team doesn’t have the needed skills and experience to set up and operate a cloud-native version of TWC 2024x, as such, it is important to bring in expertise in the areas defined below.

2. Scope

The services of the contractor are:

• Finalize TWC 2024x Containerization (cloud-native version) in NASA’s Mission

Cloud Platform (MCP) and migrate over the NASA users and associated models into TWC 2024x.

• TWC 2024x Server Admin Sustaining Support

3. Objectives

The objective results of this work are intended to finalize the stand-up a new instance of a containerized, cloud-native, TWC 2024x in NASA’s MCP and transition the current users and needed models in OCE’s Teamwork Cloud 2022x instance into the new 2024x instance. Additionally, the contractor will then sustain the TWC 2024x instance in providing server administration and user technical support.

4. Description of the Work/Contractor Tasks

The contractor shall:

1. Work with the MCP technical support to stand up a containerized, cloud-native, version of Teamwork Cloud 2024x. Work with MCP technical support to ensure all firewall exceptions are in place and OCE Cloud Security Plan is updated and in place.

2. Implement security hardening for Teamwork Cloud 2024x based upon current industry best practices and leaning into Zero Trust methodology as practical.

3. Implement dashboard monitor(s) for monitoring system health and performance and possible additions of meta data fields associated with resources/projects within

Teamwork Cloud 2024x.

4. Implement system monitoring such that support staff are notified promptly by the system alerting them of a problem, such as server not responding, or key elements performing well outside of expected bounds.

5. Aid the migration of users and associated models from the TWC 2022 instance to TWC

2024x instance. Some training sessions for the users may be needed as part of the migration efforts.

6. Provide TWC 2024x Server Admin Sustaining Support:

a. Once NASA OCE Lead concurs the TWC 2024x instance is operational post-user migration, provide typical enterprise sustaining support to said TWC 2024x instance, including working with users to resolve issues as needed.

b. Communication with TWC user community will consist of at a minimum, but not limited to, advance notification of the system going down for planned or emergency maintenance, systems are unexpectedly down or experiencing problems, systems have been restored to normal functionality, and any other information the user community would benefit being situationally aware. Communication with user community will be via NASA task order manager approved email template.

5. Deliverables

For requirements 1-4 above, delivery of operational TWC 2024x cloud-native instance to the NASA task order manager via an Operational Readiness Review (ORR) prior to user migration.

For requirement 5 above, post-migration of users and associated models, summary report of migration activities and any outstanding issues and recommended forward action to be approved by NASA task order manager to close out this requirement.

For requirement 6 above:

a. Provide high-level breakdown of sustaining support activity metrics such as, but not limited to, hours per activity type, tickets/issues resolved, tickets/issues open and total cost per month.

b. System and User metric reporting as needed but at a minimum an annual report of the TWC 2024x environment:

i. Number of active users.

ii. Number of Projects/Resources.

iii. Number of Mission Directorates using TWC by Program/Project

iv. Number of models managed within

6. Applicable Documents/Background

N/A

7. Milestones

See section 5.

• TWC 2024x Operational Readiness Review (ORR) prior to user migration.

• Post-migration of users and associated models, summary report of migration activities and any outstanding issues and recommended forward action review.

• Monthly sustaining summary tag-up with NASA task order manager.

8. Government-furnished property

All work performed shall use NASA’s OCE Teamwork Cloud environments in MCP.

9. Government-furnished information

The NASA MPC and OCE Teams will provide any information needed to the contractor in either a written or verbal format depending on availability.

10. Period of Performance
