About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA's requirements for rigging hardware for the Human Landing Systems Moon Landing Test at the Landing and Impact Research Facility at NASA's Langley Research Center. The document specifies precise hardware requirements from three sole-source manufacturers: The Crosby Group, Green Pin®, and ANYLOAD, with detailed specifications for each item, including:

Crosby Group items include multiple wide body shackles (ranging from 18t to 75t), welded master link assemblies, turnbuckles, and screw pin shackles (totaling 29 pieces). Green Pin® requires 5 sling shackles, and ANYLOAD needs 6 load cells. An additional requirement is for 4 soft shackles with specific strength and diameter specifications. All hardware must be proof load tested at 200% of rated load for 30 seconds and inspected per ASME B30 series standards, with vendors required to provide comprehensive test reports and certifications. The delivery deadline is September 30, 2025, with the solicitation (80NSSC25911966Q) issued by the NASA Langley Research Center, and proposals must strictly adhere to the listed requirements without additional options.
