About this file

This Statement of Work outlines requirements for illustration and layout design services for NASA's GLOBE Strategic Plan, with a period of performance from February 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025. The contractor will provide up to 100 illustrations and layout design services for the GLOBE Program (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Earth), a NASA Earth Science Division citizen science initiative co-sponsored by NSF, NOAA, and the Department of State.

The contractor must demonstrate technical skills in high-quality illustrations and aesthetically compelling design layout through an electronic portfolio, plus soft skills in collaborative work via references. Key deliverables include: meeting with NASA GLOBE leadership by February 7, 2025; proposed drawing list by February 21, 2025; initial sketches and layout ideas by March 31, 2025; finished-quality drawings and layout by June 30, 2025; and final copy by August 31, 2025. The work will involve multiple revision cycles based on community feedback, starting with a text-only version in January 2025 and proceeding through various drafts until project completion.
