ASPIRE Training Immersion Experience Statement of Work
Background The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), through the Office of Chief Human Capital Officer, is soliciting a proposal from top-tier public and private-sector companies interested in hosting NASA leaders for a two-week training immersion experience.
Training immersion experiences are designed as two-week, onsite experiences. Participants are matched with an organization senior leader sponsor who will help target exposure to each participant's learning objectives. NASA participants will learn through participation, presentations and training briefings, tours, and day-to-day exposure to the organizational work environment, culture, and people. Activities should be a combination of a variety of methods Including but not limited to, classroom training modules, simulations, learning conversations, tours, hands-on experiential exercises, participation in key meetings and discussions. We anticipate organizations will also benefit from training NASA leaders through shared ideas, collaborative learning, and building stronger networks and relationships.
Proposals should be designed to support participants of NASA ASPIRE executive leaderships development program.
ASPIRE provides extensive leadership development for a diverse, agencywide group of GS-15 employees selected for their high potential in assuming executive-level roles/responsibilities in support of NASA's evolving mission within the next 1-2 years.
Learning Objectives
• Engage with Intel’s research, evaluation, and technology community to learn how they are using the organizations products in advanced computer.
• Learn how the organization thinks about innovation and how innovation is infused into the organization’s roadmap.
• Participate in discussions and learning with experts and organizational executives around strategic thinking; how do Intel leaders think about strategic planning, incorporate data sources, what critical thinking skills apply, and how priorities and decisions are made.
• Be trained on how risks are identified, analyzed, and characterized for their potential impact.
• Stakeholder/customer engagement and interactions
Deliverables
• Technical approach including a two-week draft agenda; brief description of immersion experiences.
• Cost per person (inclusive of design and delivery)
• Number of people you can host in a single two-week experience and if you are able to host individuals/groups for more than one experience.
• Dates: Fall 2024
• Location: Houston/Clearlake area, Texas
• Any other logistical considerations for participation
NASA is committed to limiting risk for our agency, our employees, and participating organizations specific to ethics, data and information rights, and organizational conflicts of interest. All proposals will be reviewed and approved by our Office of General Counsel. NASA will work in partnership with industry organization to confirm mutual needs and agreements in these areas and any others needed.
