About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the acquisition of a Fluidized Temperature Bath System for NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) to be used in the heat treatment of shape memory alloy (SMA) components. The SOW specifies the required configuration, including model numbers, descriptions, and quantities for the bath system, air filtration system, dust collection cyclone, air supply filter/regulator, step-up power transformer, and control software. Key technical requirements include a temperature range of 50°C to 605°C, temperature stability of 0.7°C or less, working volume of at least 7.25" x 25", and heat up and cool down times. The system must be self-contained, require minimal personal protective equipment, and be compatible with Windows 10. The period of performance is 5-6 weeks, and the place of performance is NASA LaRC Building 1208 Room 136 in Hampton, Virginia.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Fluidized Temperature Bath System, which is a Brand Name or Equal To requirement set aside for small businesses. The solicitation number is 80NSSC24875660Q, and the federal agency is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center. Vendors are required to provide their CAGE code, UEI number, lead time, and any applicable shipping and discount information with their quotes.
