About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center. NASA GRC Health Physics is seeking to purchase a portable electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic (EMF) field strength meter with spectrum-appropriate field probes. The meter and probes must be capable of static field measurements, spectrum analysis, and broadband field measurements up to 60 GHz, with isotropic probes that have a flat response throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. The manufacturer must be compliant with ANSI Z540.3 or ISO 17025 calibration standards. NASA is looking for discounted pricing based on the trade-in of specific NARDA EMF equipment. The required minimum capabilities are detailed, including the specific field spectrum and frequency ranges. This opportunity is being issued under Solicitation Number 80NSSC24871467Q.

Statement of Work
NASA GRC Health Physics (HP) is looking to purchase a portable electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic (EMF) field strength meter with spectrum appropriate field probes that are capable of static field measurements, spectrum analysis, and broadband field measurements up to 60 GHz. The field probes must be isotropic (3-axis) and produce a flat response with static fields and throughout the electromagnetic spectrum as noted below. The various field probes should easily exchange with and be automatically detected by the portable field meter. To reduce potential IT security concerns, the portable field meter must be capable of operating as a standalone system to reduce the need to connect with a Windows computer. The manufacturer of the portable field meter and field probes must be compliant with the GRC calibration standard of ANSI Z540.3 or ISO 17025.
NASA GRC HP is looking for discounted pricing on the purchase based on the trade-in of the following items:
NARDA 8715 Electromagnetic Radiation Survey Meter NARDA B8722D E-Field Probe NARDA A8732D H-Field Probe
Lastly, the portable EMF meter and probes must have at a minimum comparable capability to the following:
Product Part Number QTY Field Spectrum
SMP 3 Dual Portable Field Meter WSL0002 1 WPH-DC WWP1501 1 H DC – 40 kHz WP10M WWP2401 1 E & H 1 Hz – 10 MHz WPF60 WWP2301 1 E 1 MHz – 60 GHz
