About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to machine custom cryogenic system components for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). The SOW specifies the required parts, including a 300K plate, 50K plate, 3K plate, 300K vacuum shell, 50K shield, and 3K shield, all of which must be machined to GSFC's design specifications. The place of performance is the vendor's manufacturing facility, and the period of performance is 12 weeks after receipt of order.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Special Notice for an "Orange Offset Cryostat" requirement, which NASA/NSSC intends to procure on a sole-source basis from Precision Cryogenic Systems, Inc. The procurement will use commercial item acquisition procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 13, and the NAICS code is 332919. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications by June 4, 2024, to be considered for a competitive procurement, if the government determines it appropriate.
