STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

NASA Marshall Space Flight Center has a requirement for a NanoPrintek Dry Multimaterial Printer. This is a inkless printer to support on-demand manufacturing of electronics at MSFC.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

• Full “Smart Manufacturing Interface (SMI)” software with system automation and design file to direct write ability

• A target carousel holding six 1-inch diameter targets

• Removable 1-inch target holders/cups (6 total)

• Automated target indexing

• Ablation laser (60W)

• Ablation laser scanner

• Sintering laser (20W)

• Required optics and optomechanics

• Vision system

• Motorized XYZ stage (20cmx20cm in XY travel and ~2cm Z travel)

• 20cmx20cm vacuum chuck and pump

• Mass flow controller

• Laser-safe enclosure

• System Interlock

• Emergency shutoff

• Print area filter system

• 100, 150, 200, 250, 300,350, and 400-micron nozzles (4 each)
