STATEMENT OF WORK
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center - Technical Managers Training
December 14, 2023
Background The Technical Managers Training (TMT) is a six-day residential training program. TMT focuses on presenting a high-level overview of how work gets done in the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) environment. There are over 20 presenters from across GSFC’s leadership/management community that provides participants with information covering the life cycle of the project from end to end. Through a series of lectures, shared lessons learned, hands-on case study, and group activities participants learn how to be more effective within their work environment. Activities and exercises are given throughout the program to increase collaborative behaviors among work teams. Participants apply their learning through a case study and receive feedback from a review panel. This Statement of Work (SOW) is intended to procure lodging and meals to deliver the TMT program.
Scope Wallops Employee Morale Association (WEMA) will provide lodging, breakfast, and lunch for NASA/GSFC employees.
Waterman’s Inn will provide catered dinner on site for NASA/GSFC employees.
Requirements
WEMA will provide the following:
• Snack service
• Breakfast and lunch
• Dinner
• Lodging for ~30 participants and presenters
Delivery Schedule The dates for the program delivery are Saturday, March 16, 2024 and ending on Friday, March 22, 2024.
GSFC Staffing GSFC shall provide a TMT project management team that will provide general management, oversight, guidance, evaluation and overall direction to the contractor during all phases of this contract.
GSFC shall provide a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), who will provide technical guidance and direction, as appropriate, to the contractor during all phases of this contract.
Training Location The Management Education Center at Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA.
