About this file
This statement of work requests the machining of 144 nickel-based superalloy creep test specimens from rectangular blanks supplied by the contractor. The contractor will machine the specimens to the dimensions specified in drawing creep_2.5in8rms and will maintain and transcribe identification markings from the blanks to the specimens. Groups of at least 12 specimens will be ordered at different times over the next two years. The contractor must include the per specimen cost and other charges such as shipping and processing in their quote. Statement of Work for Machining 140 Creep Specimens 6/28/23
Machine a total of 144 specimens to creep_2.5in8rms, in groups of at least 12 specimens
Please machine nickel-based superalloy creep test specimens from each rectangular blank supplied as shown in Fig. 1. Use the dimensions of drawing creep_2.5in8rms, which has 1/4-28UNF grip threads.
Groups of at least 12 specimens will be ordered at different times over the next 2 years. Please maintain and transcribe from the blank to the specimen the indicated identifications and provided orientation markings on each specimen end.
When each group of specimens is prepared, these specimens would then be shipped to NASA.
Please include in the quote the cost per specimen. Please also include other charges that will be applied including shipping and processing in this quote.
