About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for an evaluation board and detector development package to be used in a navigation demonstration. The selected vendor must deliver a reconfigurable 4-6MP monochrome CMOS detector with less than 10ms timestamping accuracy via hardware technique. The interface should support c-mount optics, consume less than 10W of power, include non-volatile memory, and withstand radiation levels up to 25kRad(Si). Additional requirements include SpaceWire data/command interface, size of 100x80x70mm or less, and an operating temperature range of -40C to 70C. The period of performance is 22 weeks from contract award for use in a position, navigation, and timing demonstration by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements To purchase an existing Evaluation Board and Detector Development Package that meets these minimum requirements, so it stays compatible with the existing autoNGC testbed developed at NASA – GSFC. This hardware will be used in a position, navigation, and timing demonstration that is based on the autoNGC performance requirements.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The vendor/contractor shall deliver the following Evaluation Board and Detector Development Package:

• Timestamping accuracy less than or equal to 10 milliseconds

• Provide timestamping capability via hardware (FPGA) technique

• Provide a reconfigurable detector performance via accessible system registers

• Detector size of 4MP to 6MP

• Provide a monochrome CMOS detector type

• Provide an interface for a c-mount optical modules

• Maximum power consumed less than 10 W

• Active consumed power less than 3 W at approximately 25C

• Provide non-volatile memory

• Cumulative Dose - Total Ionizing Dose minimum of 25 kRad(Si)

• Destructive SEE - SEL threshold LET > 60 MeV cm2/mg

• SpaceWire Data & Command Interface

• SpaceWire Electrical Interface

• Detector head mass less than 350 g w/o optical modules

• Detector head operating temperature range of -40C to 70C

• Maximum size of 100 mm x 80 mm x 70 mm in a test configuration

3. Place of Performance Vendor facility

4. Period of Performance 22 weeks after award of contract
