About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for laboratory supplies and equipment to support the NASA GeneLab project. The GeneLab project seeks to increase the utility and volume of omics data generated from biological spaceflight experiments through maintenance of an open repository and additional data generation from unused spaceflight material. Key requirements include a Tuttnauer 2540EAP autoclave, a Labconco FreeZone 4.5L -50C freeze dryer system with a 4-port manifold and mini stoppering chamber, to support analysis of gene expression and chromatin state changes in individual mouse heart cells from ISS missions. Delivery of the required reagents is to take place within 15 days of contract award or according to an alternate schedule determined by GeneLab, with partial delivery permitted, at the NASA Ames Research Center in support of solicitation number 80NSSC23843487Q for lab supplies including a freezer dryer system issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

The NASA GeneLab project is a BPS (Biological and Physical Sciences) effort to increase the utility and volume of omics data (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, genomics) generated from biological spaceflight experiments. The GeneLab project accomplishes this in two ways: 1) by maintaining an open access repository of spaceflight relevant omics data to maximize its use; and 2) by generating additional omics data from unused spaceflight material.

Presently, GeneLab is assessing changes in the hearts of mice flown on the ISS during the RR-10 and RRRM- 2 missions. This involves analysis of gene expression and chromatin state changes in individual cells. To support this analysis, GeneLab requires the following item from Marshall Scientific:

• Tuttnauer 2540EAP Digital Autoclave

• Labconco 700401000 FreeZone 4.5L -50C Complete Freeze Dryer

System

• Labconco 7201700 4-Port Manifold

• Labconco 7569000 Mini Stoppering Chamber

2. Place of Performance

Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center.

3. Period of Performance Reagents shall be delivered within 15 days after award of contract or according to a shipping schedule determined by GeneLab. Partial delivery is allowed.
