Statement of work:

This procurement is for two low light level cameras that are needed for the GIRAFF mission, which consists of two sounding rocket launches from Poker Flat, Alaska. We already have existing infrastructure, including control software, lenses and mounts for this type of camera from Andor. These cameras will be deployed to a downrange site that is directly underneath the rocket payload in order to image the aurora at the same time as the rocket is flying over, making in situ measurements. This combination is needed for the science closure of the mission.
