SE&P requires in person and virtual events that will convene the NASA citizen science community to share best practices, discuss NASA policy, disseminate results, and recruit volunteers.

1) We require an in-person meeting of our community that will take place during and around the spring 2023 meeting of the C*Science association (Tempe, Arizona), which many of our key scientists will be attending. The meeting should offer:

• Presentation opportunities for NASA PIs to share progress on their projects and strategies for success.

• Keynote speakers and or panelists, speaking on topics of interest to the NASA citizen science program.

• Promotion of NASA funding and participation opportunities to prospective PIs.

2) We require a series of virtual events that will facilitate public participation in NASA citizen science. The contributions of the new volunteers to NASA citizen science must be tracked before and after each event to measure the effectiveness of these events as a recruiting tool.
