The requirement is for 104 super sacks of 80 Mesh Garnet Abrasive Blast grit meeting MIL-A 22262 or equivalent, with each sack weighing 2,200 pounds. Deliveries must be staggered in minimum quantities of 8 sacks (17,600 pounds) per delivery, estimating approximately 13 total deliveries. Regular usage is estimated at one delivery per week, with peak usage potentially reaching two deliveries per week. The notional schedule upon contract award specifies 16 sacks in Week 1, 16 sacks in Week 2, and 8 sacks weekly from Week 3 through Week 11. All deliveries must be coordinated and confirmed with the Project Material Manager (Michelle Bellino, 207-690-1459, michelle.l.bellino.civ@us.navy.mil), the Project POC (Adam Ouellette, 207-994-4867, adam.p.ouellette.civ@us.navy.mil), and the Contract Specialist prior to loading and dispatching. Morning deliveries are requested, and the PMM and Project POC will provide approximately 5 business days' notice prior to expected delivery. The vendor must provide flexibility to cancel and reschedule deliveries as needed with good faith notice to avoid fees, and must supply hours of operation, turnaround times, and blackout dates. Delivery location is Building 337. Security requirements include drivers carrying two valid forms of identification, trucks free of drips and leaks, and no weapons or illegal items permitted on the military installation. The Pass Office closes around 2:00 p.m.; questions should be directed to PNS Security Pass Office at 207-438-2235 or 2614.
