About this file
This technical specification and statement of work outline requirements for a Department of the Navy data storage area network (SAN) procurement. The Navy seeks to acquire two SAN storage controller units with Intel Xeon processors, 256GB RAM, and Windows Server 2016; one 5.5PB pool of JBOD storage enclosures with 14TB HDDs; two 42U server racks; four rack PDUs; and two KVMs. The specification also includes ten spare 14TB HDDs. Responses were requested by April 13, 2020 to Kevin O'Shaughnessy for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division contract NSWCPD_DAS_SAN.
