About this file

This public notice announces the Salem Area Mass Transit District's (SAMTD) intent to piggyback off the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) IT Professional Business Services Master Price and Services Agreements for consultant services. SAMTD seeks a consultant to assist with the review and implementation of Tyler Munis modules on behalf of Oregon State member agencies, including SAMTD. The notice is posted on Oregon's e-procurement system, OregonBuys, for a 21-day public notice period. Protests must be submitted in writing to the SAMTD Contracts/Procurement Department at 555 Court Street NE Suite 5230, Salem, Oregon 97301-3980 within the posting period; faxed and emailed protests are not accepted.

SAMTD has evaluated the DAS contracts for vendors awarded in the "Project Management" category and confirmed that the statement of work aligns with SAMTD's requirements. The project will be federally funded. SAMTD determined that piggybacking off the existing state contract provides significant cost and time savings compared to conducting an independent RFP, particularly given project schedules already committed with Tyler Munis for implementation. All vendors interested in participating must register online at oregonbuys.gov.
