About this file

This document outlines salient characteristics for a perioperative system and related federal contract opportunity. The perioperative system must be bi-directionally integrated with CPRS and VISTA, include a complete OR scheduling package, and collect procedure-specific data including start/stop times and room utilization. It must provide enterprise-wide licensure, daily analytics reports, and collect SCIP and VASQIP data. Ongoing maintenance, training, software updates, and technical support are required. The system needs to enable real-time patient status tracking from check-in to discharge across multiple flow monitoring stations, include safety checklists, and support wireless devices.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs VHA VISN 6 seeking proposals for a LiveData PeriOp Manager system or equal. The set-aside is for SDVOSB. The solicitation includes requirements for all required software, hardware, configurations, training, and installation to implement the perioperative system.
