SPECIFICATIONS SHEET

1kW HF Radio System

HF Specs o Must be able to meet the frequency ranges in regular operations from 1.5 to 29.9999

MHz o Must be Narrow-band and wide brand HF compliance

MIL-STD-188-110D and MIL-STD-188-141D o Must support waveforms from 75 bps to 240 bps in up to 16 x 3kHz channels (48 kHz max BW); simplex, half-duplex and split site operation RF output o Must be able to be a dual capable system.

o Output power: 1kW (=/-1db)- PEP and average up to 1.3:1 SWR o 3 to 1 ratio Max VSWR o Emission compliant per: MIL-STD-188-141D 5.2.7.1-, 5.2.7, 5.3.1.1, 5.3.1.2, 5.3.1.3, 5.3.2.3 o Antenna connector: N-type Female

Control Panel Specifications o The front panel must be a touchscreen panel; preferably LCD touchscreen o Ethernet is required with remote HTML or remote-control software o Serial RS-232; must contain remote-control software.

o Must contain an Antenna interlock available to override keying of PA when not connected.

o Must contain an Ethernet, RS-232, EIA-530 (sync serial. A sync serial)

Size o Height 30.9 inches (785cm) o Width 22.6 inches (574cm) o Depth 31.6 inches (803cm) o Must have a 19 inch rack, 16U rack space o Weight: minimum of 325 pounds o Input Power: 180-264 VAC single phase, must have ranges of 47-63 Hz and be able to produce 15 amps

Temperature o Operation: in the ranges of -4 degrees F to 122 degrees F (-20 C to 50 C) o Storage: in the ranges of -4 degrees F to 158 degrees F (-20 C to 70 C) o Humidity: 95% non-condensing o Must be able to have built in control, audio panel, power supply for size, weight and power savings capabilities without any concern of overheating o Software updates/data fill; must be able to Ethernet via remotely or in house for software updates.

Training, o Must be able to provide 3 days of on-site training, for up to 10 personnel, on all aspects of the HF Radio system to include

Installation of updates

Routine maintenance

Usage
