About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics Commercial Availability Certification for a pulsed neodymium: yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd: YAG) laser system. The laser system must meet or exceed the following requirements: energy per pulse from 0 to 825 millijoules, pulse width from 5 to 15 nanoseconds, wavelength of 1,064 nanometers, pulse repetition rate of 10 Hertz, beam diameter of 7 to 12 millimeters, beam divergence less than 0.5 milliradians, and 2% pulse-to-pulse energy stability for at least 8 hours. The system shall include a power supply, cooling unit, quick installation kit, and remote control unit. Shipping to the destination is required.

The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number W911QX-24-Q-0102 for a Laser System, issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground. The solicitation package also includes Evaluation Criteria, a Combination Synopsis-Solicitation, and Provisions and Clauses.
