About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a telecommunications infrastructure support solicitation issued by the United States Marine Corps for Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, California. The requirement encompasses nine categories of telecommunications and fiber optic materials necessary to support installation, expansion, repair, replacement, and sustainment of MCAGCC's communications infrastructure. All materials must be new, unused, and commercially available, with delivery required no later than August 1, 2026, on an FOB Destination basis.

The specific products required include: eighty (80) Category 6 telecommunications jacks in white and red; sixty (60) four-port telecommunications faceplates; six (6) wall-mounted fiber distribution cabinets with minimum 24-fiber capacity; one hundred (100) single-mode fiber pigtail assemblies with SC connectors; approximately 3,000 feet of 24-fiber single-mode indoor/outdoor plenum-rated armored fiber cable; fifteen (15) spools of poly pull line with high-visibility tracer; ten (10) surge-protected power strips with minimum seven outlets and 540 Joules protection; twenty (20) packages of black nylon UV-rated cable ties; and four (4) Corning Part Number CC4E4621259-UF001B pre-connectorized fiber housings with 144-fiber capacity and factory pre-terminated 153-meter fiber stubs. All products must demonstrate full compatibility with existing MCAGCC telecommunications infrastructure, including Electronics connectivity products, PLP fiber cabinets, and Corning fiber distribution systems. Brand name or equal products are permitted, provided offerors furnish technical documentation proving physical, functional, and operational compatibility, with the burden of equivalency proof resting with the offeror.
