Salient Characteristics
Point-of-Care Ultrasound Requirements
· 550th FS needs 1 new point-of-care ultrasound machine and associated equipment.
· It needs to be a digital, compact unit capable of clear, simple evaluation and procedural guidance.
· Must include a rolling cart, carry case, and power supply.
· Must have the following features:
· High
· 2D (B-mode) imaging capability
· Color flow and power doppler with all probes for blood flow analysis
· M-mode capability for evaluation of fast-moving objects
· Adjustable gain function
· Ability to adjust needle gain and angle
· DICOM (wireless ability to interface with PACS network)
· Service manual
· User guide
· Include 3 transducers:
· Linear high frequency (approx. 8-18 MHz)
· Linear mid frequency (approx.. 4-12 MHz)
· Curvelinear low frequency (approx.. 1-5 MHz)
· SHOULD have a quick connect/disconnect system for the transducers
· SHOULD have a digital printer
· SHOULD have the ability to adjust needle gain and angle
· Minimum of 5 warranty coverage on systems and transducers
· Windows 10 based operating system
· One (1) day minimum of applications training from the vendor
