About this file
This document is a Special Notice regarding a sole source procurement for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) upgrades and associated software. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a purchase order to Rexel USA, Inc. to provide the required PLC and software components, as detailed in Attachment A - Salient Characteristics. The procurement will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a sole source requirement, as the agency has determined that Rexel is the only responsible source that can fully satisfy the requirements. The anticipated solicitation (RFQ No. 140R6024Q0111) will be issued around September 20, 2024, with responses due approximately 10 business days later. The Government anticipates award on or around October 20, 2024, with a 30-calendar day period of performance and delivery within 4-6 weeks after award. Vendors are invited to submit Letters of Interest by September 30, 2024 if they believe they can fully provide the required services.
