About this file
This memorandum from the United States Space Force details salient characteristics for a Flyaway Terminal Antenna to be procured for satellite communications (SATCOM) purposes. The required antenna must be a traditional WGS-certified terminal with a dish size between 1.2M and 2.4M, capable of transmitting and receiving in X and Ka bands, with potential future expansion to C and Ku bands. Additional key requirements include being fully transportable, compatible with 120v-240v power inputs at 50-60hz frequencies, including system-specific tools, hard waterproof carrying cases compliant with TA standards, a minimum one-year warranty, comprehensive operator training, and a dedicated customer support contract. The technical point of contact is Steven Davis, who can be reached via email or DSN communication channels, and the document is signed by Lt Col Jonathon D. Kelso, Commander of the Space Force Element.
