ROWPU WATER PUMPS & MOTOR SETS
Tyndall Air Force Base – 823 RHS
1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Salient Characteristics document is to accompany solicitation FA481924QA065 and outlines the items necessary to fulfill the requirement of the 823 RHS. The awarded contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, materials, labor, & delivery to provide the following list of items in accordance with all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to Tyndall AFB, Florida.
2. SCOPE: The scope of this procurement encompasses the acquisition of Raw Water Pumps and Motors specifically designed for integration with the 1500 Gallons Per Hour (GPH) Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) system. Contractors are tasked with providing equipment that adheres to the technical specifications outlined by Highland Engineering Inc., identified by part number 404-1500-15. The required components include Ampco Pumps RC2/RCH2 Pumps and ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc. Baldor Reliance motor model EJMM3610T. The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering the specified equipment within the designated timeframe and location to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness of the ROWPU system.
3. SPECIFICATIONS:

Product Requirement: The procurement entails the acquisition of Raw Water Pumps and Motors designed for integration with the 1500 Gallons Per Hour (GPH) Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) system. Contractors must provide equipment that meets specifications outlined by Highland Engineering Inc., identified by part number 404-1500-15.
Component:
-Raw Water Pumps: Contractors must supply Ampco Pumps RC2/RCH2 Pumps, ensuring compatibility with the ROWPU system's water purification requirements.
-Electric Motors: The procurement necessitates ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc. Baldor Reliance motor model EJMM3610T, specified for seamless integration and efficient operation within the ROWPU system.
4. DELIVERY: The Contractor shall be responsible for shipment of the material in a manner that fully protects the finish, appearance, and integrity of the pump sets. The Contractor shall provide the Inspection POC with at least a 7-day advance notice prior to delivery. The Contractor shall be responsible for the off-loading of the pump sets to the ground within a 100’ radius of the truck. All materials shall be off-loaded in a manner that fully protects the integrity, appearance, and finish of the pump sets.
Delivery shall only be accepted between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to the following address.

5. INSPECTION: Upon delivery all materials will be visibly inspected to meet standards.
Visibly damaged and inferior materials that do not meet specifications will be rejected.
